Mother tells of heartbreak over Caymanian son’s ordeal in ICE detention
The mother of a Caymanian man detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement – better known as ICE – for more than two months has spoken of her anger and heartbreak over her son’s ongoing ordeal.
Allan Dabrio-Marrero spent Thanksgiving and Christmas behind bars and has been bounced around ICE detention centres, including a stint at the infamous ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ in Florida.
