Turtle Centre releases two turtles on Earth Day

Earlier today, those at the Turtle Centre celebrated the occasion with the annual release of turtles into the wild. Sean Troop was at Governor’s Beach for the release — he has this story.

As the Cayman Islands marked World Earth Day on Tuesday, the Cayman Turtle Centre released turtles at Governor’s Beach. The Turtle Centre’s Shona McGill says the event is an annual act of conservation.
