Drivers warned to watch for Blue Iguanas

The native species were once on the brink of extinction, but the National Trust’s captive breeding programme has given them a new lease on life.

More than 1,200 Blue Iguanas have been released into the wild since the programme’s inception.

The Blues still face threats from feral animals and traffic — which is why locally owned Mariner Surf Company donated and installed new road signs.
