Election Campaign Fundraising Explained

Cayman’s political parties spent 1-million dollars more than in the 2021 general election. The total amount of political party contributions is KYD$733,927.59 in 2025 and spent KYD$1,549,922.14. In 2021, KYD$207,060 was raised while $506,806.16 was spent. Candidates are required by law to file all campaign related donations received from nomination day through election day. Donations along with expenses accrued before nomination day do not have to be reported.
