Fee increases unveiled in Finance Committee

Finance minister Rolston Anglin unveiled a rash of fee increases on Friday from financial services fees to company fees as well as stamp duty and licensing fees, all of which are expected to increase in January. The biggest jump in fees relate to immigration with some categories increasing by 600 percent. Minister Anglin said these new immigration fees are expected to net an additional $15. 4 million in 2026 and just over $17.1 million in 2027.
