New Sister Islands planning board appointed
Cabinet has appointed a new Development Control Board for the Sister Islands, replacing all seven of its members.
Stephen Tatum, an accountant with Island Energy, has taken on the position of chairman, stepping into a role Ashton Bodden has held since 2013.
The other newly appointed members of the board are L. Kendall Ryan as deputy chair, Tracy Hunter, Richard McElhannon representing Little Cayman, Keeshan Ritch, Elkie Rose and Joshua Burke.
Andrea Stevens, from the Department of Planning, remains as the board’s executive secretary.
None of the previous board, which had included deputy chair Zanda McLean and members Jason McLaughlin, Elsie Kynes, Carol Busby, Delano Lazzari and Miguel Martin, has been reappointed.
The appointments, which are effective from 1 June 2025, are for two years, and will expire on 31 May 2027.
