NCC defends using rifles for cat culling
The National Conservation Council has defended its cat-culling methods.
The approach to dealing with the feral-cat population in the Sister Islands came to light during Finance Committee, where it was revealed that the Department of Environment, with council approval, has been using air rifles to eradicate feral cats on Little Cayman.
