New plane for MRCU

Cayman’s mosquito fighting arsenal is set for an upgrade. Lawmakers have approved $1.8 million for a new plane to help the Mosquito Research and Control Unit in its efforts. However, Opposition MP Roy McTaggart urged government to consider getting two planes instead as the two existing planes, one of which is out of commission, are too old.
