NRA launches online road safety campaign
The NRA is launching a road safety awareness campaign. The news comes as cycling and e-biking continue to increase on our roads.
The National Roads Authority has launched a social media campaign reminding drivers that cyclists have the right to be on the road just like any other vehicle.
The campaign message was posted to social media over the weekend and comes following the recent death of cyclist Per Undheim.
The NRA urges drivers to slow down, stay alert, and give two metres of space when passing anyone cycling or on an e-bike.

Mobile food truck brings sweet treats to Cayman Brac
Living on Cayman Brac has become just a little sweeter.
For two months now, Izzy’s Delights has been serving the island food and ice cream through its food truck — the first of its kind in 30 years.
Rochelle Smith and Cameron Brown are the Caymanian owners and operators of Izzy’s Delights. They created it after seeing the need for the service, which is both convenient and delicious.
Keira Bodden, a big fan of Izzy’s, said there hadn’t been an ice cream truck in Cayman Brac in her lifetime.
“It’s wonderful that now we do, especially with how easy and fast it is to get what you want. I’m glad Izzy’s Delights is here,” she said.
