The Rebirth of TV in the Cayman Islands

This documentary tells the behind-the-scenes story of how independent broadcast television was brought back to the Cayman Islands. With the ambition of launching in time for the 2025 general elections, the Compass Media team undertook the monumental challenge of building a world-class TV station from the ground up in little over 100 days.

Featuring exclusive interviews with the team behind the launch, including 29-time Emmy Award-winning director Roger Goodman, this documentary film explores the technical, cultural and human challenges of launching Compass TV, and how it brought live news, original programming and local voices back into Cayman homes and onto screens across the world.
