Spot Bay pipeline

Meanwhile, the Water Authority – Cayman is celebrating a major milestone in its ongoing pipeline extension project on Cayman Brac.

The Water Authority’s line has now reached Spot Bay — marking a significant step forward in the effort to expand access to piped water across the larger of the two Sister Islands.

This milestone brings the total number of Cayman Brac residents with piped water access up to 70% — and it’s been a long time coming.

On 9 April, the Water Authority hosted a celebratory event in Spot Bay, temporarily closing the local office and commissioning the pipeline for use.
