Auditor General launches survey on George Town revitalisation project
The Office of the Auditor General is reviewing the George Town revitalisation initiative and is inviting input from the public and local businesses through a short survey.
The initiative aims to enhance the infrastructure, accessibility, green spaces, and overall experience of the downtown George Town area.
Deputy Auditor General Angela Cullen says public input is a vital part of the process.

Auditor General investigating George Town revitalisation
The auditor general has begun an investigation into the value for money of the multi-year George Town Revitalisation project.
The project, which has involved shutting off some roads to traffic, adding new brickwork and a roundabout, has drawn criticism from businesses in the area.
Now the auditor general is seeking public feedback as it seeks to determine if the ongoing government funded project was a good use of the people’s money.
The office has put out a public survey asking people to give their impression of how the project has gone so far and what additional amenities and changes they would like to see in the capital.
