Caymanian freediver Brian Myers sets CWTB national record
It’s not every day that a national record is set in the sport of freediving, but a couple of weeks ago, that was the reality for Caymanian Brian Myers.
Myers set the standard in the freediving constant weight bi-fins discipline at 114 feet during the Azul Freediving Challenge in Mexico.

Week 3: Primary school football action remains intense
Despite the October heat, the third week of the CUC Primary Football League and Girls’ Primary Football League held on 4 Oct. delivered plenty of intense action on the pitch.
All regular season matches operate under the ‘Respect Rule,’ which caps recorded scores at a four-goal differential. While play continues if a team leads by four or more goals, any additional goals scored beyond that margin are not officially counted in the final result.
In group B of the Primary Football League, Prospect Primary School secured two wins against Red Bay Primary School in both age groups.
In the under-9 division, a pair of first-half goals gave Prospect Primary a 2-0 victory. The success continued for the boys in purple and yellow in the under-11 game, which finished 3-0.
