A motion brought forward to expand mental health services was debated rigorously by Youth Parliament opposition and government members.
Hon. Kenneth Bryan, who chairs Youth Parliament, said he was moved by the debate and that Parliament may see motions regarding mental health brought forward at its next sitting.
Team Cayman is showing strong form at the ICC Men’s T20 Sub-Regional World Cup Qualifier, delivering a pair of dominant performances over the past two days. Most recently, they defeated Mexico by nine wickets.

Government sets September start for East-West Arterial
Government plans to begin survey work on the long-awaited East-West Arterial road in April, with construction targeted to start in September, Parliament heard during last week’s sitting.
Speaking during the 6 March session, Minister for Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure Jay Ebanks said the road remains a priority infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and easing congestion between Grand Cayman’s central and eastern districts.
