DOA pet microchipping drive

On Saturday, government agencies teamed up for a pet microchipping drive.

The Department of Agriculture’s Animal Welfare & Control Unit and Hazard Management hosted the event, which promoted responsible pet ownership and hurricane preparedness for pets.

The first ten pet owners received the microchips for free.
