Highlighting CI Coast Guard’s 2024 Achievements 

440% more ganja was seized by the Cayman Islands Coast Guard in 2024 then in 2023, these figures come from the Office of the Commissioner of Police 2024 Annual Report.

CICG says they are responsible for maritime safety and security, which includes enforcing local and international laws.

The report highlights 13 new recruits joined the non-commissioned ranks and three members achieved emergency medical responder certifications.
