Law firm fined

A local law firm has been fined for violating immigration laws after failing to disclose Caymanian applicants during a recruitment process earlier this year.

Following a complaint, Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) launched an investigation, which led to multiple charges and a conviction.

WORC officials say the case highlights their commitment to enforcing the law across all industries — including white-collar sectors.
