Sports Recap – 18 July 2025
Wrapping up sports with flag football… Compass sports journalist Ileann Powery opened the Vixens vs I’Reign game with a touchdown for the Vixens — but that would be their only scoring moment.
I’Reign QB Lisa Malice did a dodge and weave through the Vixens for her score, while Janelle Ebanks’ full-field sprint couldn’t be stopped. I’Reign won 18–6.
In the Titans vs Lynx match-up, the Titans dominated, taking a 19–0 lead which they held onto. Quarterback Anya Edun was unstoppable, with well-placed passes to the end zone.
