Due to be implemented on September the 1st, non-Caymanians will need to pay up to 8x for their vehicle licences, permits and tests. The Chamber of Commerce is asking Government to work with them on a solution to this much discussed change.

In Cayman Brac, a car and motorbike collided along Creek Road on Monday morning. Both drivers were taken to hospital locally with serious injuries, though the motorcyclist is now in Grand Cayman seeking further treatment. Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.

The Family Resource Centre hosts an annual workshop, for youths to recognise and understand unsafe situations. This year centres on abuse, neglect and forms of bullying, while also addressing that a lot of abuse comes from “the people that are close to you”.
