Today on Daybreak, we’re heading to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park to discover what’s in bloom in the latest edition of Nature Break.
Inclusion Cayman joins us to explore the experiences of people with disabilities in the Cayman Islands, from navigating everyday life to the barriers that still exist and the changes needed to create a more inclusive community.

Central Scranton Park officially opens in George Town
Grand Cayman’s newest park officially opened on Saturday, with community leaders and members of the public joining politicians from all parties to celebrate.
The government hopes Central Scranton Park, which cost an estimated $10 million, will continue the transformation of an area once blighted by crime, but now houses a turtle-filled lake and pond, native trees, green spaces, a seniors’ centre, a youth club, a multi-purpose sports court, an outdoor gym and a large-scale shell sculpture by Native Sons artist Al Ebanks.
